چکیده

The primary objective of the Next Generation Networks, which are based on Multiuser Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (MU-OFDM) is to increase the network efficiency by maximizing the total throughput of the system and minimizing the overall transmit power for a give quality of service (QOS). MU-OFDM is one of the promising techniques for achieving high downlink capacities in future cellular and wireless networks. The sum capacity of MU-OFDM is maximized when each subchannel is assigned to the user with the best channel-to-noise ratio for that subchannel, with power subsequently distributed. Ever increasing demand for high throughput, low delay and low Outage probability can be met by using Adaptive Resource Allocation in OFDM Technology. Optimal solution to the constrained fairness problem of Adaptive Resource Allocation is extremely computationally complex to obtain, a low-complexity suboptimal algorithm that separates subchannel allocation and power allocation is proposed. Rate Adaptive Based Resource Allocation with Proportional Fairness Constraints in OFDMA Systems

Orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA), which is widely used in the wireless sensor networks, allows different users to obtain different subcarriers according to their subchannel gains. Therefore, how to assign subcarriers and power to different users to achieve a high system sum rate is an important research area in OFDMA systems. In this paper, the focus of study is on the rate...

A Survey on Resource Allocation in OFDMA Wireless Networks

OFDMA is the access scheme used in the third and fourth generation wireless cellular networks. Proper allocation of bandwidth and power is essential for ensuring the optimal performance and utilization of the resources in the OFDMA based cellular networks. The resource allocation in uplink direction and downlink directional will need different approaches. In uplink direction, different categori...

Proportional fair resource allocation based on hybrid ant colony optimization for slow adaptive OFDMA system

Proportional fair resource allocation plays a critical role to enhance the performance of slow adaptive orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) system. In slow adaptive OFDMA system, the subcarrier allocation is updated at the beginning of every time window and the channel gain of users at the time of the subcarrier allocation could not be known precisely. This leads to the challe...

Adaptive Slot Management for Ofdma Based Cellular Wireless Networks in Tdd Mode

The next generation of mobile networks is expected to support real-time multimedia applications with different classes of traffic and diverse bandwidth requirements. The Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) system with time division duplex mode, employing asymmetric slot allocation between uplink and downlink, is a good solution for mixed realistic traffic. In this paper, we in...
